Just recently, one of the country’s newest attraction opened and has been taking the country in excitement. The SUNFLOWER MAZE recently opened and it is perfect for all kinds of people of any ages. Located at Barangay C. Lichauco Tayug, Pangasinan, this attraction has taken the municipality in the list of a must visit destination near the metro this 2017. Last Saturday, Untold Adventures PH went to explore the said attraction and here are some tips on how to enjoy the adventure:
1. COME IN EARLY
The attraction opens as early as 7:00am and closes at 5:00pm. Since this is a new attraction, people have been wanting to visit the place and explore its beauty. But one can’t enjoy it if crowded, right? And if prefer to have a picture perfect sunflower garden background, I would strongly suggest to be one of the early birds.
2. WEAR SOMETHING COMFORTABLE
It is an outdoor attraction therefore it is much recommended that one should wear comfortable clothes and footwear. I would suggest to bring protection against the sun such as umbrellas, sunglasses and caps. You may opt to bring fans if you want to.
3. STRIKE A POSE
It is not every day that one is surrounded by numerous sunflowers. What better way to enjoy the attraction is by taking lots and lots of pictures which is an instant LIKE and HEART for any Facebook and/or Instagram post.
4. KNOW WHEN TO GO
As we all know, sunflower are plants with a lifespan and good only for a particular season. It is much better if you would call their office first before your intended visit. Nobody wants to go to a place wherein nothing would be seen, right?
5. YOU MAY OPT NOT TO BRING FOOD
With this new attraction comes an emerging community of business minded people, which is a great thing. There are lots of food stall around the area so that one will enjoy the place while eating some soft foods.
6. IT IS MUCH BETTER TO COMMUTE RATHER THAN BRINGING YOU CAR
Although there is a designated parking area, for visitors I would still encourage everyone to just commute his/her way to the attraction. One might have a hard time with his/her vehicle in maneuvering in a small road. Another option is to leave your vehicle in a safe area (in a nearby mall) and ride a tricycle for a very minimal amount.
7. BRING YOUR FAMILY
Unless one can make your father and/or mother climb a mountain, dive the deepest sea or travel for long hours, it is highly encouraged to be with the family and bond. It is not everyday that an attraction is opened for a few hours from Manila that any member of the family will enjoy.
