COMIDA: My Eco-Friendly Tex-Mex Food Place

With lots of Mexican themed restaurants around the metro, it is hard to find a place which lives up to its identity. I, as a Mexican food lover, kept looking for the best place that can satisfy my cravings for authentic Mexican food. Luckily, I was able to locate one authentic "untold" Mexican chill out place located near the Chinese-stuffed food vicinity of Banaue, Quezon City. By: Nickson Garcia
COMIDA is an eco-friendly and pet-friendly Texan-Mexican food resto-bar located at 15 Binmaka Street Quezon City. Comida means "food" in Spanish.
Upon entering the place, the interior would definitely be the one to catch the customer's attention. You would get the vibe of it being a "lively-homey" place for a group of friends and even family. The chairs are made of painted tires and every side of the walls are designed with collections from the owners and pictures of their repeated guests-turned friends.

HOW TO GET THERE
- From Cubao, ride a jeepney bound to Welcome Rotonda via Timog and alight at Sto. Domingo Street. From there, ride a tricycle and drop at Comida.
- From Blumentritt LRT station, ride a jeepney bound to Munoz and alight at Sienna College. From there, walk two blocks to Binmaka street to Comida
- From SM North, ride a jeepney/UV Express bound to Quaipo and alight at Sto. Domingo Street. From there, ride a tricycle and drop at Comido

The Mexican Corn, Chicken Fajitas and Tuna Alfredo are three (3) of the MUST TRY and RECOMMENDED dishes in Comida. One might wonder, why not Nachos? For me, it is a common dish in a Tex-Mex restaurant therefore one might try another.

Customers may have a hard time locating the restaurant using a public utility vehicle but try following the direction mentioned and you will get there at ease. Parking is limited but not a problem, however, expect a street parking.

The owners are young professionals which is a good thing because they can relate to young customers. They personally cooked and serves the dishes to you. Oh did I mentioned? they have a cute dog you might want to meet.
